Ugly Yeti is a London-based hard-rock band active since 2015 that has been making a name for themselves with their raw, unapologetic sound and electrifying live performances. Their music is a fusion of groove-laden riffs, driving bass-lines, and memorable hooks – all punctuated by careful synth work and genre-bending experiments. Ugly Yeti's debut EP, Mean Machine, was released in January 2017 to critical acclaim, showcasing the band's impressive musicianship, raw energy and charisma, featuring standout tracks like "No Sunshine" and "Landslide". The band's second EP, Emergence, released in February 2020, further showcased their talent for innovation and creativeness, with standout tracks like "Lazarus" and "Wanderer". Ugly Yeti are now back with a vengeance with their blistering new single, "Floating Away", released in March 2023. The band recorded the single in their own studio, allowing them to lovingly craft their sound and then crank the volume. With its infectious energy and soaring melodies, Floating Away is a perfect example of what makes Ugly Yeti such an exciting band to watch.
